Some weights with pumpkin-shape base found some time ago in Burma. Comments welcome. Franck

80 tical Hintha Pumpkin weight (Group 6 – Gear): 1110 g; nice black patina; found in Rangoon end of the 80’s:

80 tical Hintha Pumpkin weight (Group 6 – Gear) : 1116 g; more red /copper patina; seems to have been cleaned; found in Rangoon early 90's:

10 tical Hintha Pumpkin weight (Group 6 – Gear): 139 g; found in Burma in the 90's:

Next time I will post some small pumpkin-base weights found in Northern Laos.

Hi Franck,
thanks for your recent postings with images of pieces from your collection.
With Hartmuts posting (http://forum.opiumgewichte.com/thread/?t...__mid=321678171, fig. 1) we have a good reference to compare with your first shown pumpkin weight. In my opinion your pumpkin looks good in all details: Weight mass (1.110 g), especially the script and signs and the shape of bird and base as well as.
