I've got this weight years ago as a gift .

At this time I didn't know anything about opium weights.
Now I have some pieces because I like it very much.
I would be very grateful, if anybody could tell me something about this elefant. Is it real from ancient Lao? Or is it a fake weight?

Wow... Great looking old Nandi/Bull. I hope that others know more about these weights... I have kept my focus on the Birds and Beasts and need to broaden my view. Please encourage Jochem to continue sharing photos of his collection! ~Jack

The bull doesn't look Burmese to me, and it's too good to be Lao. What is it? Could we see the other side, please? Weight in grams?
